Creative Lismore Incorporated is an alliance of arts, cultural, entertainment, business, tourism and education partners who have come together to explore strategies for promoting and celebrating the Lismore local government area as a vibrant and culturally significant centre of creativity. The alliance was formally incorporated in early 2014 in recognition of the need to more effectively coordinate our creative industries whilst highlighting the positive economic and social benefits of the arts in Lismore.
Lismore will be Australia's pre-eminent regional centre for the arts and creativity.
Excellence
The members of the alliance are dedicated to achieving excellence in every aspect of their creative and professional endeavours.
Innovation
Members will strive to bring a novel approach to the artistic, funding and administrative challenges facing their respective organisations.
Advocacy
At every opportunity members will advocate on behalf of their own organisations and advance the cause of the alliance overall.
Collaboration
Members will form strategic and productive partnerships and work closely with each other in a spirit of cooperation.
Generosity
Members will show a ‘generosity of spirit’ and identify and recommend opportunities for to each other wherever possible.
Participation
Members consider audience is paramount: we aim to work with audiences and the community to ensure relevance in everything we do.
