As a consequence of the March 31 flood, a Lismore Business Taskforce was formed in late May 2017 to assist with the post-flood recovery process, improve flood mitigation measures and help secure the economic future of the city. (more)

Like so many Lismore businesses, the Lantern Parade workshop was inundated during the recent floods. With only weeks remaining before the event, a small army of volunteers leapt into the fray – cleaning, salvaging and restoring the workshop and many of these cultural icons. (more)
