The Albert Park complex is home to the sports of baseball and softball in the Northern Rivers and has hosted some of the most prestigious baseball and softball events and training camps held in Australia. The complex is unique in regional Australia in that it comprises four full-sized enclosed fields, two of which are under lights.

Lismore is well regarded as one of Australia’s strongest non-metropolitan baseball and softball communities. From humble beginnings in 1937, Lismore has produced a number of baseball legends who have represented NSW, QLD, Australia and even participated in Minor League in the US, Asia and Europe. Albert Park is located within a 5 minute drive of the city’s CBD, the Lismore Transit Centre, accommodation and health facilities.

The Lismore City Bowling Club is known as Lismore’s friendly in Northern NSW.

We welcome visitors young, and not so young, new to bowling, or old hands at the game.  Visitors and locals alike are welcome to drop in for a friendly game or just a chat.

The club with full bar facilities is also available for hire. Catered or self-catering functions, at a very reasonable rate. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Lismore’s Nesbitt Park is located just a short drive from Lismore’s main CBD area. The Wheelchair and disability accessible playground includes a wheelchair swing, accessible outdoor playground equipment and one kilometre (3 metres wide) walking/ jogging track.

There is also exercise equipment, barbecues, sporting fields and a mountain bike skills track.

The mountain bike skills track is a great space for people to get outdoors and ride safely, off-road, especially for young people during school holidays and at weekends. The track is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders to learn mountain biking skills.
