Our Kids, The Northern Rivers Children’s Health Fund is a self-funded charity whose auspice is the North Coast Area Health Service.
Our Kids aim is to improve the health services for children in the Northern Rivers. To achieve our aim, Our Kids raises funds to purchase life saving early intervention technology for the paediatric wards, such as Children’s Ward and Special Care Nursery at Lismore Base Hospital and the surrounding hospitals, so that children can be treated locally when needing vital medical care.
Since conception Our Kids has purchased over $950,000 of specialised medical equipment for the paediatric wards at Lismore Base Hospital. As well as purchasing equipment for the local hospitals Our Kids helps families with children with special needs through grants for equipment to help improve and assist them in the community. Our Kids are improving the health services with more local children receiving local care.
