Saturday Night - 19 September

Saturday night entertainment will be a comedy night with Mandy Nolan and Nick Penn in the Lismore Workers Club Auditorium on 19 September, 2015 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

NRL Semi Finals will be screened on a big screen in the Function Rooms with bar service available.

Oztag will be hosting a function at the Lismore Italo Australian Club, Barrow Lane, North Lismore. Dinner and entertainment is provided in your sports fee.

Football will be hosting a function at the Goonellabah Soccer Club, at Reserve Street, Goonellabah. Dinner will be provided and is in your sports fee.

About Mandy Nolan

With 28 years of stage time under her belt Multi-talented Nolan is an accomplished comedian, artist and journalist. A self proclaimed expert on all matters feminine she is a regular contributor for The Hoopla and occasional guest on ABC's Q&A and SBS's Mums The Word. Nolan’s previous titles with Finch Publishing include ‘What I Would Do If I Were You’  & ‘Boyfriend’s We’ve all Had and Shouldn’t have.’ Her latest book "Home Truths' was launched to national acclaim this year with sell out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.  Nolan’s talent for shrewd observations and uncompromised honesty leave you feeling relieved that you are not the only one!

Mandy Nolan has developed her own Humour Therapy and delivered a Commonwealth funded and researched project that made its way to International peer reviewed medical journals. She has appeared on ABC's Q&A, SBS's Mums The Word & About Women and is in demand as a corporate and club performer around  the country. Her first memoir, What I Would Do If I Were You, was published in 2011, in 2014 she released 'Boyfriends We've all had and shouldn't Have'. Nolan believes in unleashing the voice of others, running regular Memoir Writing Workshops - and most recently she was featured on SBS's Insight for her Humour Therapy for People with Dementia. Nolan has also been chosen to perform for Outback Ladies in Durham Downs - a pampering and indulgence for rural women. Nolan is a favourite and regularly called on for private functions for Olivia Newton John who has declared that Mandy has 'a wicked wicked sense of humour!'

In a career spanning twenty five years, Nick has performed three times a week alongside such greats as Vince Sorrenti, Little Patti, and John Williamson in clubs and comedy venues, restaurants and theatres in cities and regional areas around the nation and abroad. A funny and engaging act with no swearing or offensive material, Nick Penn understands the importance of good results and always comes well prepared. Credits include:
